Content Management Systems (CMS’s) are provided for our clients use along with their websites and enable them to manage the content (text, images, video and other media) on those websites. Changes made from within a CMS are typically posted immediately to the website so the changes can be seen live on-site at the click of a mouse.

Recent years have seen tremendous growth in the use of CMS’s as businesses increasingly seek to conduct their business activities and communications electronically via the web.

Using a DMC CMS, our clients can:

  • Maintain and manage their own websites.
  • Request us to manage their sites for them.
  • Share maintenance activities with DMC, or allocate specific ones.

Our CMS is a flexible system which can be used to:

  • Define user types (eg. Customers, Suppliers, Guests, or Staff Members)
  • Allow for a large number of people (where necessary) to contribute to and share stored data on a website or web interface.
  • Control access to certain data, based on user permissions or roles. User permissions range from simple to elaborate and define what information each user can view or edit/delete.
  • Facilitate easy storage and retrieval of data.
  • Reduce or eliminate duplication of data input.
  • Improve communication between users.
  • Manage invoicing/billing, customer accounts, marketing, e-mail management and much more…

In a CMS, data can be defined as almost any kind of data or file type your choose to mention. Typically and for the majority of applications these include text, documents, movies and images in a range of file formats.
